May 2008 Newsletter
Dear Michele,

Do I hear a sigh of relief now that April 15th has come and gone?

Make yourself a promise this year that your taxes will be better organized.  Call me at A Second Office; I will get you set up.

Here's what a few of my clients' accountants had to say this year:

"Michele, I am so glad that you are on board!" - AL, CPA

"A Second Office has made my accountant's job much easier in filing our tax returns this year by maintaining our records!" - GB

I am also happy to announce that A Second Office has increased our Knowledge Base to 6 Virtual Assistants.  We are looking for additional work; so, if you know of someone who could use our assistance, please have them contact Michele at (800) 276-0818, ext. 1.

NOTE:  You could earn $100 cash for your referral!  Please contact Michele about the details.

Microsoft Office from 2003 to 2007

Have you upgraded Microsoft Office from 2003 to 2007 and do not know what happened to the shortcut keys; and, hey, what happened to my toolbars?

Well, Microsoft Office has come up with interactive guides to help you find what happened to those items you had comfortably memorized for the past four years.  The guides appear in the 2003 version of the program.  With your mouse, select a toolbar button or a menu item and a balloon pops up to let you know where to find the item in the new 2007 version.

For the Interactive Guide for Word 2003 to Word 2007 Command Reference, click here.

For the Interactive Guide for Excel 2003 to Excel 2007 Command Reference, click here.

For the Interactive Guide for Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2007 Command Reference, click here.

For the Interactive Guide for PowerPoint 2003 to PowerPoint 2007 Command Reference, click here.

When you click on the links above, you will be given the opportunity to Run or Save the file to your computer.  If you are going to view the Command Reference more than once, I would suggest saving it to your computer.

IMPORTANT:  The links are executable files.  The links are saved to A Second Office's website.  I obtained them directly from Microsoft's website and I have already opened and used them.  They are safe.

Do you Need a Virtual Assistant or an Employee?

Understanding the Difference Between Working with a Virtual Assistant Professional and Working with an Employee

One of the biggest challenges Virtual Assistants have is helping a significant part of the marketplace understand that Virtual Assistants are not employees; the two are very different things.
