On a more serious note ... I received
news this past week that my older brother (by
one year) was stricken suddenly with a virus
that has paralyzed him.
This
incident has caused me to think a lot lately
about my family and my loved ones. What
kind of estate planning do they have in
place? Do they have Wills, Living Wills,
or any kind of directives in place? Heck,
it was just this year that I prepared my own
Will and Living Will.
Thinking
about one's demise is always an unpleasant
thought, but a necessary one. If you have
not done anything to set up your estate plan, I
encourage you not to delay.
One important
document to have on your estate planning
checklist is a Living Will. I would like
