We provide off-site receptionist services to companies of all types and sizes throughout the United States.
As a member of your team, we get to know your and your business. When you are unable to be reached or take a call, we do everything you would expect from a professional receptionist.
One possible problem with the sales process is the lack of a live person professionally answering your phone. Businesses miss a sales opportunity when they are away from the office because their calls go to voice mail. With A Second Office as your partner in business, you no longer have to play phone tag or worry about returning calls to schedule an appointment or take a sales order.
What can A Second Office do for you?
- A Second Office provides all of the benefits of hiring an on-site, full-time receptionist at the fraction of the cost.

How does it work?
- You will be assigned a dedicated phone number (Colorado local or 800 number) that will be professionally answered.
- When a call comes in, a screen pops up on our computer providing us with your personalized greeting and company information.
- The call is answered according to your personalized greeting.
- The call is screened and placed on hold.
- The client is contacted and given the opportunity to either take the call or sent to voice mail.
- If the call is accepted by the client, the call is transferred immediately.
- If the call is denied by the client, the call is either sent to voice mail or a manual message is taken and emailed to the client.
NOTE: There are other options available with regard to handling the call per the client’s directions.
- A Second Office will service the call as a member of your staff, answering questions, scheduling appointments and taking orders.
How does A Second Office know when I am available?
- We ask that each of our clients call or email us consistently with your availability; just as you would “call into the office” to let the receptionist know your whereabouts.
- In addition to using the online calendar to make your client appointments, you can block our time or communicate your availability.
Pricing
A Second Office believes that a business should be charged by the call and not by how long you speak with the caller. Therefore, our pricing is based on “per callrdquo; and not per minute.
We want the caller to feel satisfied that we took the necessary time to fulfill their needs. We will never rush through a call because we're watching the minutes.

- Up to 40 Calls Each Month
- Calls answered in excess of plan allotment will be billed at $1.20 per call

- Your Own Phone Number to Forward Calls
- Account Rep answers your calls with your personalized greeting/company information and schedule appointments
- After scheduling appointment, you will receive an e-mail or a voice mail advising you of the appointment
- Monthly Trunk Activity Report - showing all calls received

150-Call Plan - 3 Employee Plan

Comparing apples-to-apples is difficult because many answering services charge you using minutes. An average call is at least 5 minutes long when answering questions, taking an order or scheduling an appointment.
A Second Office:
- $200/Month – 40 Calls equates to 200+ minutes (5+ mins x 40 calls)
